๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ผ Wrapping up the 2026 ISAM Congress

๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ผ ISAM 2026 was an exciting opportunity for the PULMOTeam to share our latest work on advancing data-driven approaches in inhaled drug development.

At this year’s congress, Carolina Dantas, MD presented our research poster:

๐Ÿ“„ย APEX โ€“ Predicting pulmonary drug deposition using real-time connected inhalation data.

๐Ÿ”ฌย Through APEX, we are exploring how real-time connected inhalation data can be combined with predictive models of regional lung drug deposition to develop digital tools that provide deeper insights into inhalation behaviour and support more informed decision-making in inhaled drug development. By linking these elements, our aim is to help de-risk development pathways and contribute to the next generation of respiratory therapies.

Presenting this work at ISAM was a valuable opportunity to share our approach and engage with the wider inhalation community around the future of data-driven respiratory drug delivery.

A sincere thank you to the organizers ISAM – International Society for Aerosols in Medicine, Hsiao-Chi Chuang, Hui-Ling Lin, and Wei-Ren Ke, as well as all the speakers, presenters, and attendees who made this year’s congress such a rewarding experience.

โžก๏ธ We’re already looking forward to continuing these conversations and to seeing the inhalation community come together again at ISAM2027 in Dublin.
